However, now if you just step out-of-the-line, Google catches you immediately. Your website is your brand’s image. Over-stuffing of keywords or linking paid links or even buying irrelevant links can kill your ranking very badly.

That’s exactly why, after a month of black hat SEO or link building, you immediately lose customers and ranking on the first page of Google. Ever thought why this happens? Because you failed to comply with Google’s safe-play rule. This will eventually get you the manual penalty or de-indexing of your site.

I know the charm of instant ranking boost is too much to be true. But, on the other hand, if you keep doing the wrong techniques, you will get highly penalized for your actions. In the end, you will stand at ground-zero with no gain at all.

Link scheming is a no-no for Google, no matter how you dress it, the end result is a failure. Similarly, if you stuff your blog or article with keywords, Google will catch it.

you with bounce-back results.

➔ Avoid hard-core link swamping in comments. It’s again a failed
attempt at your ranking.
➔ Do original PPC campaign instead of scrapped content for

  • The guest post should be displaying your expertise.
  • Post something related to that specific blog or website

Negative guest posting will not only get you rejected but also pull-down your brand’s image.

But, what is this process in the first place? Sometimes, people mention your brand, product or service, but don’t share a link to your site.

You can either contact the webmaster and ask for a link or simply use the filter process I shared above to acquire these links.

Link Building

One more way to find and screen mention is by means of the SERP Research Tool (SERP). It is a smart sequence of advanced search machinists.
