Significance Of Email Marketing In Link Building

Usually, people get worried that link building is a very hard job, but if you know your job well, then it’s a piece of cake. You simply gobble it down tea or coffee.

The technique of outreach link building is very considerate part of building high-quality links. Yes, it does take time. Sometimes you only get 10 links to 1500 emails.

But again, in the end, you do learn a lot. However, I have been able to deduce that mostly this happens because you had no idea initially how the process works. Or your SEO marketer couldn’t do it right.

Cold email marketing is a story of gone days. Now, you talk to people, instead of letting them feel that a robot is operating on the other side.

Once you open your inbox, what do you actually do? Go through the important emails, and delete the spams, right? Why do you delete those emails? Because either it was just filling your inbox or because you didn’t find it interesting to open it. Correct?

I know you will agree on this. An email conversation is very important. You need to make an attractive subject,  and then the email-body should hold definite particulars etc. so that people may actually want to talk to you.

As a marketer, it’s my job to optimize a post and boost it on a certain platform for certain traffic. But, if I’m just  typing in something, like this:

“Hey, see this site, buy a link from xyz.com and post it here, thanks
– I’m simply going to delete it. I get thousands of messages on LinkedIn, and most of them are unread, just because the subject was generic or simply not-so-catchy!

But, on the other hand, when I received an email, where the subject was, “Don’t miss reading me or HuffPost article was awesome,” –

I’m bound to open and study both. But out of the both, I’ll feel
inclined to respond to the second one. Any guesses why? Because
this person showed some interest in me and my post.

And, who doesn’t love to talk when it’s based on something that
they are doing. The second email gave me a thrill that hey,
someone likes to read my stuff. So my natural reaction will be cool, thank you. Next, I’m sure we both will be exchanging emails etc. So, you see, the impact an email subject can have.

The more you sustain in prolonging the conversation, the more you will see results. Rapport building, small chit-chat, funny ideas and then boom!…

Jump-in, and either ask for a suggestive link, their link or maybe ask them to include your link. Your job is done.

Just with a little bit empathy and courtesy you closed a good deal
of high-quality link building. Given that, if I only have a site worth ranking for.

Converse, converse, and converse – is your game plan for email marketing.

– Talk about the stuff you and your POC likes. Don’t make awkward intervals.
– Be consistent and offer your services on a closed circuit.
– Explain why you like them, talk about one or two posts that
you have read or commented.

Share ideas, explain how you want things to be done in future.
Thus, at the end, if all goes well, then you have bagged a strong and powerful link to your site. In order to stand out instead of being treated as spam, follow my lead below:

  1. Keep your subjects short and in lowercase.
  2. Write a natural “Subject” to get attention.
  3. Never add or use “Link Request” in your subject line.
  4. Drive your emails as a person, not as a business or a “web
    group” newsletter.
  5. Incorporate an ordinary acknowledgement in the start.
  6. Drive the conversation.
  7. Give time for a quick call instead of asking them about their
    free-time.

By following the above, I’m sure you will get to generate more leads for your business and also some strong and powerful links.
